Buffalo
Niagara Heritage Village plans three March events
A
volunteer open house, student art show and the popular Museum After Hours event
will take place during March at Buffalo Niagara Heritage Village. Dedicated to
preserving the rich history of the Niagara Frontier, Heritage Village is located
at 3755 Tonawanda Creek Road in Amherst.
The
volunteer open house will kick things off from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, March 8.
This free event is open to anyone interested in learning more about volunteer
and internship opportunities at Heritage Village. Refreshments and guided tours
will be offered. Already a volunteer? Feel free to stop by and bring a friend or
two!
An
art show featuring the work of students from the Williamsville Central School
District will be held from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Monday, March 17 and Tuesday, March
18. Admission to the event is free, but donations are encouraged. Stop in and
check out the impressive work created by some equally impressive young
artists!
The
next Museum After Hours event, held until 9 p.m. on the third Thursday of every
month, will take place on March 20. This event is free to Heritage Village
members and just $6 for adults, $4 for seniors and $2 for
students.
