KINGDOM BOUND ANNOUNCES 2009 ONLINE TALENT SEARCH

National Talent Search To Provide Platform, Development Opportunity For New ArtistsBuffalo, N.Y. (March 16, 2009) - Kingdom Bound Ministries of Western New York, in conjunction with The Christian Festival Association (CFA), a coalition of over two dozen Christian music festivals across the country, recently announced plans for its 2009 National Talent Search. Kingdom Bound Christian music festival takes place August 2-5, 2009, at Darien Lake Theme Park, between Buffalo and Rochester. Now through May 15, unsigned Christian, Gospel and Holy Hip Hop artists can enter one original song into Kingdom Bound's Talent Search online through sonicbids.com. Their music will be judged both online and by industry experts, with the first place winner receiving a performance slot at Kingdom Bound and second and third place winners receiving complimentary tickets to the festival. The first place winner of Kingdom Bound's Talent Search will then go on to the national competition with the potential to win a development deal from Word Label Group.

"The purpose of this exciting new venture is to identify and provide a platform for new artists who can communicate a God-centered worldview in the language of contemporary culture so that the next generation can see, hear and know God," said CFA President Bob Thompson. "The Christian Festival Association is delighted to partner with Word Label Group to provide this unique new platform for aspiring Christian artists."

Regional competitions will take place at 19 CFA-affiliated festivals this summer, including Western New York's Kingdom Bound, and a regional winner will be determined at each festival. Those 19 winners will be invited to Nashville in September to participate in the national finals.

The overall winner will receive a development deal with the Word Label Group family of labels, which includes Fervent Records, Myrrh Records and Word Records.

Jeremy Holley, Word Label Group VP of Consumer & Interactive Marketing, continues, "We are thrilled to partner with the CFA once again in this innovative and straightforward method of discovering and promoting talent. Word is continually striving to discover and magnify the most relevant and cutting-edge sounds in Christian music and we can't wait to hear and see the new music that this year's competition produces."

For more information concerning the National Talent Search, including registration information and deadlines, please visit www.kingdombound.org or www.christianfestivals.com.

Kingdom Bound Ministries presents "the Gospel through the arts" at various concerts and events throughout the year in Upstate New York and Southern Ontario. Each August, Kingdom Bound Christian music festival takes place at Darien Lake Theme Park in Darien Center, attracting upwards of 55,000 attenders from all over the United States and Canada. The festival, now in its 23rd year, features over 50 concerts and seminars over a four-day period, with headliners like Casting Crowns and Newsboys. For more information, visit www.kingdombound.org.

The Christian Festival Association is composed of 25 of the nation's leading Christian music festivals from coast to coast. Its mission is to help member festivals grow both spiritually and fiscally, so that more lives can be changed for the glory of God. More than 22 million Christian music fans each year attend live events in venues ranging from small church gatherings to huge arena-based shows. Participating CFA member music festivals attract more than 1.4 million of these fans each summer to their multi-day Christian music festivals offered coast to coast. SENECA GAMING CORPORATION’S GOT “THE RIGHT STUFF” IN ENTERTAINMENT

CASINOS ANNOUNCE WINTER-SPRING ENTERTAINMENT
LINEUP WITH NEW KIDS ON THE BLOCK LEADING THE PACK!
TICKETS ON SALE FRIDAY AT NOON
NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. – As the mercury continues to drop, Seneca Gaming Corporation
(SGC) is proud to feature some of the hottest acts at Seneca Niagara Casino & Hotel (SNC) and Seneca Allegany Casino & Hotel (SAC) that are sure to bring the heat this winter and spring.

That’s right the gang’s all here - Jordan, Joey, Donnie, Danny and Jon of New Kids On The Block (NKOTB)! Fresh off a European tour, the guys will be “Hanging Tough” at Seneca Niagara Casino & Hotel on March 28, 2009 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets for the show go on sale Friday 1/23 at noon and are priced at $60, $80 and $100. There is a four ticket limit per purchaser. The Kids, now five grown men, exploded into the music scene in 1986 and forever defined the look and sound of the modern boy band.

NKOTB released “The Block” in September 2008, their first album since disbanding in 1994. The guys performed 39 U.S. shows since they reunited in 2008 and will only perform 16 shows across the U.S. on their recently announced spring 2009 North American Tour.

Robert E. Victoria, Senior Vice President of Marketing, Seneca Gaming Corporation (SGC), managing entity for the Seneca Nation’s Class III gaming facilities and resort properties, announced the entertainment lineup today.

“Seneca Gaming Corporation is thrilled to bring New Kids On The Block to Seneca Niagara Casino & Hotel. Across the country, NKOTB is playing in 10,000+ seat arenas, while at the Seneca Niagara Events Center, we have a capacity of just over 2,000 seats, making it possible to bring our guests even closer to these music icons,” he said.

Both resort properties boast virtually non-stop entertainment as the stages sizzle with today’s up and coming performers and classic favorites who have made their mark in the music and entertainment industries for years.

The Seneca Experience entertainment line-up will kick-off this Friday at 8 p.m. as the legendary singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist, STEVE WINWOOD, who has played for bands such as “The Spencer Davis Group,” “Traffic” and “Blind Faith,” takes the stage for the first time in the Seneca Niagara Events Center to avid fans and rave reviews. According to Victoria, Friday’s concert is just the beginning of a diverse entertainment lineup performed by top-notch artists.

“We’ve continued the theme of variety from our past lineups to bring you a wide array of shows sure to appeal to a broad range of tastes and interests,” he said. Victoria also noted that quantity as well as quality reign supreme, with events going on virtually every weekend.

Big Names in Entertainment Light Up the Stage

TONY GALLA, GARY MALLABER & JIM CALIRE, three of the original members of the circa 1960s band “Raven” will join forces with local Buffalo legend BOBBY MILITELLO, to rock the Bears Den Showroom with a bluesy-good sound on February 7. Tony Galla, Gary Mallaber and Jimmy Calire will reprise some of the Raven hits and bring back old memories for scores of Buffalo and Western New York fans.

THE BACON BROTHERS BAND is ready to rock the Bear’s Den Showroom (SNC) on February 20. Sharing the stage is co-frontman and global film star Kevin Bacon on vocals and guitar, along with older brother Michael also on guitar, vocals and cello. The lifelong musicians have produced five albums since forming eleven years ago when they began their careers singing in Philadelphia coffee houses.

The lead vocalist and guitarist, of the “Staind,” AARON LEWIS, a well known Grammy nominated songwriter whose distinct voice and well crafted lyrics have captivated many, will return to SNC for two solo, intimate shows on February 26 and 27 in the Bears Den Showroom.

GEORGE THOROGOOD AND THE DESTROYERS will bring the hits such as “Move it On Over” and “Who Do You Love” to the Seneca Allegany Events Center (SAC) on March 8. This ‘bad to the bone’ performer, released his self-titled debut album, “George Thorogood and the Destroyers” with his band The Destroyers in 1976.

DAVID COOK catapulted to fame after winning the seventh and most recent season of the hit show American Idol. The singer, song-writer and guitarist released a self-titled album in November 2008 and one week prior to his victory on Idol (May ’09) Cook broke several Billboard chart records, most notably having eleven songs on the Hot 100 in that week. See David Cook live on March 13 in the Seneca Niagara Events Center (SNC).
Stand-up comedian, radio personality and actor ARTIE LANGE is known most for his role on The Howard Stern Show and as an original member of the show MADtv. You’ll be sure to laugh with Lange when he takes the stage March 14 at the Seneca Niagara Events Center (SNC).

Popular for her appearances on The Montell Williams Show, respected psychic medium, SLYVIA BROWNE will keep you mesmerized with her psychic readings March 27 at the Seneca Niagara Events Center (SNC). Join her on the last leg of her final tour.

NEW KIDS ON THE BLOCK make a stop on their Spring 2009 North American Tour in the Seneca Niagara Events Center (SNC) on March 28. Join Jordan, Joey, Donnie, Danny and Jon for one of only 16 U.S. shows this spring!

Five time Grammy-Award winning blues and rock guitarist and singer, BUDDY GUY, will perform at the Seneca Allegany Events Center (SAC) on April 17. His showmanship and ability to play the guitar will wow you, just like it did for his successors Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton and Stevie Ray Vaughan.

Known for his five year role on Saturday Night Live in the mid-nineties comedian COLIN QUINN will keep you laughing with his performance on April 18 in the Bears Den Showroom at the Seneca Niagara Casino & Hotel.

THE DOOBIE BROTHERS is a legendary American rock group who has sold over 22 million albums since the 1970’s. They were inducted into “The Vocal Group Hall of Fame” in 2004 and will perform at the Seneca Niagara Events Center (SNC) April 25.

Aaron Lewis is back – this time as the front man with his band STAIND on May 1 in the Seneca Niagara Events Center (SNC). The band has recorded six studio albums over the last nine years, have had multiple chart topping singles and have sold over 15 million records worldwide.

THE MACHINE is back for two shows on May 9 in the Bear’s Den Showroom. Known as America’s premier Pink Floyd band, The Machine will return for another round of psychedelic performances you’re sure not to forget.

On May 15, the Seneca Allegany Events Center (SAC) welcomes LOS LONELY BOYS, a Grammy-Award winning group of brothers out of San Angelo, Texas who blends elements of rock and roll, blues, soul, country and Tejano into their own sound dubbed as “Texan Rock ‘n Roll.”

Sisters Ann and Nancy Wilson of HEART bring their signature style to the Seneca Niagara Events Center (SNC) on May 16 for one rockin’ show! Formed in the early 1970s, Heart saw resurgence in popularity in the mid 1980s with their hard rock power ballads. To date, the sisters have sold over 30 million albums worldwide.

Also on May 16, CAROLINE RHEA, stand-up comedienne and actress, known for her work on Caroline’s Comedy Hour and Comic Strip Live will bring her fresh and spontaneous approach to the Bear’s Den Showroom.

Back by popular demand, Buffalo’s own THE SCINTAS will return on May 23 to the Seneca Niagara Events Center. “Laugh Out Loud,” the group’s newest collaboration will include new sketches and music while still incorporating all the old favorites!

There’s more excitement on the way this summer with big names such as:

BLUES TRAVELER on June 13 for a free, outdoor show at SNC, KENNY G on June 26 in the Seneca Niagara Events Center (SNC) and LORETTA LYNN on August 15 for a free, outdoor show at SAC.

The Seneca Experience

Both Seneca Niagara Casino & Hotel and Seneca Allegany Casino & Hotel will be promoting several value-added packages for the ultimate winter getaway. For more information on The Seneca Experience entertainment lineup visit: www.TheSenecaCasinos.com.
“With world-class gaming & entertainment, a luxurious hotel and spa, fine and casual dining and great retail, we’re looking forward to people considering Seneca Niagara Casino & Hotel and Seneca Allegany Casino & Hotel when planning day trips or destination weekends this winter and spring,” said Victoria.
