Buzz Records Set To Host First Showcase At Hard Rock Café

Buzz Records will host first ever music showcase at Niagara Falls Hard Rock Cafe. Featuring The Albrights, Breckenwood and What is This.

Buzz Records is set to host their first music showcase at the Hard Rock Café, Niagara Falls on May 30, 2012.

After signing their second Western New York band, Breckenwood, Buzz Records is proud to announce their first music showcase featuring The Albrights, Breckenwood and WiT. The showcase is set to start at 9:00pm, doors at 8:30pm, on May 30, 2012 at the Hard Rock Café in Niagara Falls, NY. Tickets will be sold presale through the bands and at the door for $5.00. It is open to all ages.

Buzz Records was founded in 2011 by Grammy-nominated producer, Anthony Casuccio and successful business partner and lawyer Steve Kantor: two successful yet ultimately very different individuals looking to provide the industry with a fresh, unique and much needed new approach. “We’re going to sign and nurture artists and bands who have a genuine, original sound,” says co-founder Steve Kantor. There are too many record labels out there that are trying to sign bands that fit the mold of pop culture and will produce one big hit before something “better” takes their place. Casuccio and Kantor are striving to change that idea.

The artists and bands that are signed under Buzz Records are not there for anyone to make a quick buck. The goal is for them to experience long-term growth, becoming better musicians, performers and fine tune their sound to fit their identity: not the molds.

In 2011 Buzz Records took its first step towards changing the industry by signing The Albrights, a pop-indie rock band based in Western New York. The Albrights’ debut album, “Ask, Tell.” was released in May 2011.

Breckenwood, a power-pop rock band also from Western New York, was signed in April 2012 and has proudly released their first single, “Loser of the Year” on May 10, 2012 under Buzz Records. This single along with an acoustic version can be found on the Buzz Records Online Store as well as iTunes and Amazon.com.

The frst performers of the evening will be a lucky group of high schoolers whose youngest members are a mere fifteen years old. What is This or “WiT” has signed with Buzz Records to release a digital EP this month after gaining Casuccio and Kantor’s attention during their successful debut in the Music Is Art Battle of the Bands.

The showcase on May 30, 2012 is a chance for Buzz Records to prove that they are staying true to their values and present the talented musicians that they have been working with to the public.

About Buzz Records:
Buzz Records is a new record label with old school values. In an industry of cookie-cutter acts, Buzz gives artists the opportunity and support to develop their skills and artistic identity. Buzz Records was started by music veteran Anthony Casuccio and attorney and music aficionado Steve Kantor, both Western NY natives that share a passion for discovering good music and talent and helping artist further their careers.
