UPCOMING ENTERTAINMENT AT SENECA CASINOS:

NIAGARA FALLS and SALAMANCA, NY – Seneca Casinos will make it an October to remember will an all-star lineup of entertainment. Coming to Seneca Niagara Events Center on Oct. 5 is GRAMMY® Lifetime Achievement Award–winner Tony Bennett, followed by legendary female country singer Martina McBride on Oct. 6 at Seneca Allegany Events Center. Canadian icon Gino Vannelli will perform on three consecutive days at Seneca Niagara Casino’s Bear’s Den Showroom from Oct. 5 through 7, with 1980s rock band Asia coming the following weekend on Oct. 13.
Timeless, sophisticated and smooth: these are words that describe the masterful Tony Bennett, one of the all-time best singers of jazz and standards. He has earned 17 GRAMMY® Awards – including the Lifetime Achievement Award, two Emmy Awards, a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and countless other accolades throughout his storied career. Bennett will perform his signature hits such as “I Left My Heart in San Francisco” and “Rags to Riches,” as well as classic standards such as “The Way You Look Tonight” and “Fly Me to the Moon.” Tickets for Bennett’s Friday, Oct. 5, show at 8 p.m. at Seneca Niagara Events Center start at $75 and go on sale Monday, July 16, at noon.

After a sensational sold-out performance in August 2011 at Seneca Niagara Events Center, Martina McBride returns to Seneca Casinos – this time to Seneca Allegany Events Center in Salamanca, NY, on Saturday, Oct. 6, at 7 p.m. The award-winning artist is the voice behind 24 Top 10 singles, including the recent Top 5 hit “I’m Gonna Love You Through It,” and No. 1 hits such as “A Broken Wing,” “Wild Angels,” and “This One’s for the Girls.”Tickets start at $70 and go on sale Monday, July 16, at noon.

Singer-songwriter Gino Vannelli, a perennial favorite for guests at the intimate 440-seat Bear’s Den Showroom, returns from a successful two-day stint in 2011 to up the ante to three days this year. The Canadian sensation and multiple Juno Award winner will play at 8 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 5, and Saturday, Oct. 6, and conclude with a 7 p.m. show on Sunday, Oct. 7. Tickets for all three shows start at $55 and go on sale Saturday, July 14, at noon. Vannelli continues to delight audiences with hits such as “I Just Wanna Stop,” “Wild Horses” and “Living Inside Myself.”

1980s rock band Asia took the world by storm with their self-titled, No.1, multi-platinum debut album, which included enduring hits such as “Heat of the Moment” and “Only Time Will Tell.” All four original members reunited in 2006 and now come to the Bear’s Den Showroom as part of a 30th Anniversary Tour on Saturday, Oct. 13. Tickets start at $65 and go on sale Saturday, July 30, at noon.
