Tom Hambridge appeared at the White House last Tuesday
NY native and Grammy winning producer Tom Hambridge appeared at the White House last Tuesday night on drums as part of the "In Performance at the White House: Red, White and Blues" concert, to explore those musical roots and pay homage to the great figures of the Blues. Mick Jagger, BB King, Buddy Guy and many more top stars feted the audience, which included President Obama jamming with the band on “Sweet Home Chicago”. Hambridge is on a roll in 2012 having won the Grammy for Buddy Guy’s Living Proof, where he worked alongside Buddy as co-writer, producer and drummer. In addition, George Thorogood’s latest CD “2020 South Michigan Avenue” was produced by Tom.
