This year, the festival will be directed by Joyce Stilson and, once again, feature world premieres of recent finalists and one-act winners of the Maxim Mazumdar New Play Competition.

Buffalo Quickies 2011 is the fifth production of Alleyway Theatre’s thirty first season dedicated to new works. Always a smorgasbord of tasty theatrical tidbits flavored with the spice of life, this year the festival boasts seven new plays. Rewriting history, making history and changing history are prevalent themes in this year’s collection of quirky short plays. Suitable for adult/teen audiences.
