COUNTRY ARTIST SEAN PATRICK MCGRAW TO PERFORM IN YOUR AREA

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - (January 7, 2011) – Country music artist Sean Patrick McGraw brings his “zietgeisty brand of country-rock” to The Gin Mill, Sprague Farm & Brew Works, Eden Country Jam and Lakeview Hotel.

February 4 @ The Gin Mill in Ellicottville, NY
February 5 @ Sprague Farm and Brew Works in Venango, PA
February 19 @ Eden Country Jam in Eden, NY
February 20 @ Lakeview Hotel in Mayville, NY

This is an exciting time for Sean Patrick McGraw as he has most recently performed at the PBR World Finals in Las Vegas, been on the Jagermeister Tour with fellow country singer, Eric Church, participated in the ACM Chairman’s Ride, and performed at BamaJam Festival and several packed shows at CMA Music Fest. McGraw’s song, “Drink With Hank,” was featured in the June 13th episode of HBO’s “True Blood” and another one of his songs entitled “Anyone But Me,” was also featured on the popular vampire series on June 20th.

Last year was a highly successful one for Sean Patrick McGraw. He hit the road with Toby Keith and Trace Adkins playing 25+ shows on the “America’s Toughest Tour.” He made his national television debut on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” and was the subject of a two-page feature in Country Weekly magazine titled “Running Tough.” ESPN prominently featured his song, “My So Called Life,” in their NASCAR coverage and he was booked for a week-long stint in Vegas as part of the PBR (Pro Bull Riding) Finals in November.

Once hailed as the hardest working unsigned touring acts in the U.S. putting over half a million miles on pick-up trucks and SUV’s in the last ten years alone, McGraw is now signed to Little Engine Records with plans to release a new album this year. He made his CMT debut in 2009 with his video for “Dollar Ain’t Worth A Dime.” Written over two years ago, the song proves timely in today’s economical climate. Tune in or log on to CMT to watch the video.

What the Critics Are Saying:
- L.A. Times: His tenor is strong and befitting of the bar-brawler ruckus that so many of his younger peers are working in right now.
- MusicIsMusic: I found McGraw and his band to be a refreshing surprise. They were very tight. The songs were meaty and rockin'. These guys sounded like they have been on the road forever.
- Jacksonville Sun: Solid country-rock band
- St. Petersburg Times: Newbie opener Sean Patrick McGraw radiated star power…

About Sean Patrick McGraw:
Hailing from a small steel industry town about 50 miles outside of Buffalo, New York, McGraw was raised on Hee-Haw and rough games of hockey and football. Small for his age and showing little athletic promise, he gravitated towards music and at 13 started a band. After high school, McGraw moved to Los Angeles developing his own hard-core hillbilly sound. It soon became evident that Nashville was where he belonged, so McGraw made the move, signed a publishing deal with Liz Rose and made an impacting appearance on the second season of “Nashville Star.” Along with numerous headlining club dates, McGraw has opened for Toby Keith, Trace Adkins, Jason Aldean, Miranda Lambert, Patty Loveless and Pat Green, among others.
