The Carubba Collision Golden Gloves

Boxing is Back in Buffalo
Event to Start on March 20th at the Burt Flickinger Center

All of Western New York amateur Boxers, sub novice, novice, and open class, both male and female are training hard and eagerly anticipating their opportunity to participate in the most prestigious amateur boxing tournament in the country The Carubba Collision Golden Gloves. The boxers are enthusiastically preparing to seize their moment to earn their place in history and become a Golden Gloves champion.

The ECC Burt Flickinger Athletic Center will be the host site for the regional tournament, and the New York State Championship, which take place on March 20th, April 9th, and April 23rd. The first show on Saturday March 20th will be a great opportunity for local fans and visitors to have an entertaining sports-filled weekend as the tournament will start in between Friday (March 19th) and Sundays (March 21st) NCAA basketball tournament. Bouts are set for a 7:30pm start.

Admission for each show is $20 in advance or $25 the day of each event for general admission and $10 in advance or $15 the day of the event for children 12 and under. Tickets can be purchased at the Tonawanda, Buffalo, Hamburg and Wheatfield Carubba Collision locations as well as Pacillo’s on Hertel Avenue, Doris Records on East Ferry Street, or online at www.Clicketix.com.
