The Dog Day of Summer
A festival fundraiser for Chet Secrist’s battle with Leukemia.
- 8 a.m. (Saturday) to 12:15 a.m. (Sunday)
- Lockport: Main Street / The Big Bridge / Ida Fritz Park (between West Avenue & Park Avenue)
- Pancake Breakfast: 8-11 am
- 5K Race and 1-Mile Walk: 9 am and 9:30 respectively (meet on Big Bridge)
- Chet’s (breakfast) Dog Biscuit Eating Contest: 12:30 pm (on Big Bridge)
- Kid’s Carnival (games, dunk tank, bounce houses, clowns, balloons, crafts and more): 10 am-6 pm Ida Fritz Park
- Craft Festival: 10 am-6 pm
Live Music: 10 am-12:15 am on the Big Bridge:
- Pete Robinson & Willow Street Brass (National Anthem - 9 a.m.)
- Lockport Federation Band Local 97 (10-11:30 a.m.)
