ADAM ZADOK MOVES ON TO BODOG SEMI-FINALS!

Local Buffalo artist gaining national attention

FUSE TV, the premier cable music video channel for rock, alternative, punk, hardcore, emo, and indie music has teamed up with BODOG Music, the record company owned by BODOG Entertainment Group to sponsor FUSE TV’s BODOG Battle of the Bands, the reality TV show that scours the nation looking for America’s next big unsigned rock band.

Adam Zadok, (pronounced zâ-dock) the up-and-coming Buffalo based singer/songwriter who fronts a full rock band, beat out thousands of submissions nationwide to compete in the first round of the BODOG Battle of the Bands. On October 14th, the first round saw the band capture the attention of fans and judges alike propelling them to the semi-final round to be held at Cleveland’s legendary Peabody’s Concert Club on November 27th, 2007.

An accomplished acoustic performer, Adam has transformed his acoustic material into high energy rock songs. This hybrid of melody driven, power pop has propelled Adam and company into the modern rock genre. The comparison of the band’s refreshing new sound can best be described as Matthew Sweet meets the Foo Fighters.

Thousands of bands throughout the country will vie for the BODOG $1 million record deal, each having to succeed at a series of elimination rounds showcasing their music in front of local fans and a panel of 3 discriminating judges. Subsequent showcase rounds occur in different US cities culminating with the final 10 bands appearing on the popular reality TV show. In late November, destiny will bring Adam Zadok’s world face to face with a national audience in Cleveland, Ohio.

National exposure couldn’t happen at a better time for the band. Adam’s latest CD entitled “State of the Union” is receiving airplay at over 150 radio stations throughout Europe, Asia, Australia, and North America, including Buffalo’s own WEDG 103.3 and 107.7 The Lake.
In addition to the BODOG opportunity, MTV has licensed Adam’s music for future show productions. Based on the strength of the song, "Struck Out," the second track off “State of the Union,” MTV producers realized the potential of the power pop song and added it to the current season of their popular reality TV dating show, “NEXT.”
