HARVEST IN THE PARK MAKES MOVE ACROSS TOWN TO ARTPARK
Lewiston, N.Y. (September 5, 2007) – The 2nd annual Harvest In The Park, a free, day-long Christian music praise festival featuring various regional acts, will take place from 1 – 8 p.m. at Artpark on September 22. Artpark is located at 450 South 4th St. in Lewiston, New York, near Niagara Falls. Last year’s inaugural event was held at Academy Park, across town in Lewiston.
“Artpark is a beautiful venue for Harvest In The Park,” says Randy Peddie, the event’s organizer. “If it rains, we’ll be covered because we’re using the Artpark Theater mainstage, which has plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. It’s a unique setting, and while Academy Park worked well last year, Artpark allows for better seating options for the many people in attendance.”
This year’s Harvest In The Park will feature some of Western New York and Southern Ontario’s most popular Christian music acts, including Kenmore-based rock band One Foot In Heaven; Immanuel, a youthful band from St. Bart’s in Tonawanda; Canada’s premier piano-playing worship leader Dan Macaulay; and motivational hip-hop from a female Canadian MC named Saidat. Also on the bill: Precious Seed, a vocal harmony trio from Pennsylvania consisting of a mom and her two daughters; worship artists Lee Stevens and Surrendered; speaker Mike Chorey, of the Joshua Revolution conference; and Jeremy Brothers from Freedom Village. Nile “Motormouth” Jenkins, a car care expert who hosts the popular Car Connection program on Buffalo’s WDCX-FM, will MC the overall event.
