Artpark Announces Second Audition Call for 2007 Musical!

Ethnically-Diverse Cast Sought for Elton John & Tim Rice’s AIDA!

(Lewiston, NY) Artpark & Company, Inc. is announcing a second call for auditions to fill several prominent, ethnically-diverse roles for its August production of the blockbuster musical, Elton John & Tim Rice's AIDA.

This round of auditions will be held on Thursday, March 22 from 4pm to 7pm at Musicalfare Theatre, located on the Daemen College campus at 4380 Main Street in Buffalo. A specific emphasis will be placed on auditions for ethnically-diverse male and female singers/dancers, as well as middle-age male singers/actors. An accompanist will be provided and it is recommended that actors bring sheet music.

An appointment is not mandatory but actors may call for one at (716) 754-9000 ext. 242.
There are NO CHILDREN'S AUDITIONS for this production.

Artpark remains one of the area's few highly-recognized performing arts centers to fully-produce all of its own theatrical shows, from casting to set design, to direction and choreography.

The Earl W. Brydges Artpark is being operated by Artpark & Company, Inc. for the New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation under a license agreement.
