REGIONAL CHRISTIAN MUSIC CONFERENCE TO WELCOME ASPIRING AMERICAN AND CANADIAN SINGERS AND MUSICIANS
Niagara Falls, ON (January 19, 2007) — Here’s something rare for our region: a Christian music conference. The “Kik Start Your Music Ministry” Christian music conference will take place Saturday, January 27, from 9am to 5:30pm at Redeemer Bible Church, 3017 Montrose Rd., in Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada. Aspiring Christian and Gospel singers, songwriters, producers and musicians from both sides of the border are expected to attend this conference.
The Canadian Gospel Music Association (CGMA), World Vision Canada and Briercrest College and Seminary, along with Nashville's Gospel Music Association (GMA), are presenting “Kik Start,” which will feature nine top professionals leading conference seminars on various topics, from “vocal training” to “streams of revenue.” Professionals include the Canadian singer Kevin Pauls, who has performed with Bill Gaither when he comes to Toronto, along with Armand Petri, a music producer who lives in Western New York and has worked with 10,000 Maniacs, Goo Goo Dolls, and Sixpence None The Richer. “Kik Start” costs $25 for CGMA or GMA members, or $50 for non-members, and lunch is included.
