A Look Back
This past week started off with a bang Friday December 1st the Lochside Celtic Duo with Sheila Stratton Peel was once again back to the Old First Ward at Gene McCarthy's Irish Pub ( 73 Hamburg Street Buffalo, NY ) for another great night of food, music and fun!! Bartender Jimmy along with Karen, Tiffany, Suzette and your host Gerhardt, make McCarthy's the perfect after work Friday stop.Look for a big Old Ward Christmas coming up soon! Then on Saturday December 2nd it was the Lochside Blues Duo, Stanley and Tom were back at Vizcarra Vineyards (3760 Quaker Road Gasport, NY 14067 (716)772-2211).This was another Niagara Wine Trail Event and the boys had the wine tasters dancing and singing along.A big hello to Suzie, Judy, Georgia and Kathy who did an outstanding job serving wine and of course the Vizcarras; Oscar, Mindy and Amanda. Later that night Tom and Stan took time for some Christmas cheer out at the Lighthouse Grill-n-Spirits (5885 Main Street Olcott, NY 14126 716-778-5880) as they lit up Olcott for Christmas. Another great crowd and a big hello to Doug Thompson (Home Of The Worm), Laura Rutland, Tracy Seaver, Kathy, Beth and all of our other good friends out in Olcott.Sunday December 3rd the Duo was back again at Vizcarra Vineyards (3760 Quaker Road Gasport, NY 14067 (716)772-2211) as the Niagara Wine Trail Wine event continued. We had a lot of friends show up: Wilson Fire Chief Gary Darnell and his wife Tammy, Doug Seefeldt, Kim & Joe Nalbone, Anne & Wally Worth, and host of others from the Hometown. Wednesday December 6th the boys will be at the Buffalo Music Awards. It's always a great time seeing all of our friends in the Western New York music industry. The Lochside Celtic Band web site is up, but it is still under consrtuction ( http://www.lochsidecelticband.com/ ).....please be patient. Just a reminder, if you are staying over night in Lewiston, the place to do it is Piper's Village Inn 125 South Fifth Street- Lewiston, NY 14092 1- 888–PIPERS-BED (1-888-747-3772), especially during the holiday season.You'll be glad you did. Some people have been asking to see something about Tom Keefer's nine year stint as equipment manager with the Buffalo Bandits of the National Lacrosse League. Click here to see him.This was their 1996 Championship year. He's on the top row next to Darris Kilgour.Ask Tom to show you his Championship ring sometime. Friday December 8th the Lochside Celtic Band with Sheila Stratton Peel is making our first appearance at Ulrich's Tavern (resevervations always accepted but not necessary (716)855-8409 674 Ellicott Street (Corner of Virginia) Buffalo NY 14203)Buffalo's oldest continuos Pub; they're 1/2 Irish, 1/2 German = 1/2 perfect.Friday December 15th we're back at Seneca Allegany Casino from 10:30 PM - 2:30 AM for another action packed night in the mountains of Allegany. A special shout out to Husky Johnson! ==========================================

Thursday December 7th Tom Keefer will be playing solo piano at the Niagara County GOP Holiday Party at the Holiday Inn on Transit Road in Lockport, NY.Saturday December 9th we're back home at the Wilson House Inn 300 Lake Street Wilson, NY 716-751-9888. Come on out and sing some Christmas songs with us! We'll see you there.................
