HARVEST IN THE PARK DEBUTS IN LEWISTON SEPT. 23

Buffalo, N.Y. (September 7, 2006) — “Harvest In The Park” makes its debut at Lewiston’s Academy Park on Saturday, September 23, from Noon to 7pm. The event, which is free and open to the public, will feature several music groups, including One Foot In Heaven, Precious Seed, and Surrendered.

“Harvest In The Park is a family-friendly event featuring pop, rock, and worship music, including artists like Mike Failla, the worship director for Kingdom Bound Christian music festival,” says Randy Peddie, event organizer. “We’ll also have speakers from the Righteous Riders’ motorcycle club and Resurrection Life Fellowship’s Women’s Ministry talking about God’s love.”

Nile Jenkins, who hosts “Car Connection,” the car advice show on WDCX-FM 99.5 in Buffalo, will have a table at Harvest In The Park. While there are bleachers available for this event, bringing your own lawn chairs is recommended. Some refreshments and activities for the kids will be available.

“Harvest In The Park is meant to enhance the lives of all those who attend,” says Peddie. “It will be a joyful and encouraging event, and I hope to see a lot of people there.”
