Kingdom Bound Talent Search Application Deadline One Week Away

Kingdom Bound Talent Search Application Deadline One Week Away Buffalo, N.Y. (April 23, 2006)—Kingdom Bound Ministries is now accepting applications for its 2006 International Talent Search. Aspiring Christian singers and/or musicians who are not signed to a label and would like to win the opportunity to perform live at Kingdom Bound Christian music festival, to be held August 6-9, 2006, at Six Flags Darien Lake amusement park and camping resort in Darien Center, New York, have the opportunity to be considered for this prestigious honor. A downloadable application for the talent search is available at www.kingdombound.org. Applications are due by April 30, 2006. A panel of industry experts will choose selected applicants, who will then have one of their songs (must be original material (no covers)) placed on-line during the month of May at www.kingdombound.org, and Kingdom Bound fans will vote for their favorite song. The top two with the most votes will be chosen as winners. They will enjoy the exciting opportunity of performing at the festival’s Park Stage on Sunday, August 6, 2006. "The talent search is a great way for independent singers and bands to expose their music and ministries to new audiences," says Mark Weber, of ChristianMusicMonthly.com. "Kingdom Bound is an established and respected organization, and the talent search is a way for them to help give up-and-coming singers and bands great exposure to tens of thousands of Christian music fans." Kingdom Bound, one of North America’s largest and longest-running festivals, features over 40 pop, rock and praise & worship artists, including headliners Newsboys, Third Day, Casting Crowns, and MercyMe (“I Can Only Imagine,” “Here With Me”), as well as several speakers, including Dr. Kevin Leman and Pam Stenzel, among its packed line-up. Kingdom Bound tickets are surprisingly affordable and include admission to amusement park rides, like the giant Ferris wheel and the Superman: Ride Of Steel coaster. Tickets can be charged by phone at 716-633-1117 or 1-800-461-4485, Monday through Friday 10-5pm EST. For more information, please visit www.kingdombound.org.
