HARVEST HOUSE HOLDS TWO EASTER-RELATED EVENTS THIS APRIL
Buffalo, N.Y. (March 30, 2006) — Harvest House will hold two Easter-related events this April at 1782 Seneca St., between Bailey and Mineral Springs, in South Buffalo. Bring the kids for a picture with The Easter Bunny, who will be at Harvest House for a pancake breakfast, this Saturday, April 1. The event takes place from 8:30am – 11:30am, with face painting, games, and fun, for only $5 a person. Tickets are currently available at Harvest House, and will also be available at the door the day of the event. Then, mark your calendar for Friday, April 21, for a post-Easter 7:30pm concert at Harvest House with the contemporary Christian vocal group Witness. Using music as an evangelistic tool, Nevin Hope (tenor), Ken Mann (lead), Ron Hope (baritone), and Steve Makosy (bass), seek to spread the Word of God through the songs they sing. They’ve had the opportunity to sing at coffeehouses, retreats, conventions, special worship services, and nursing homes. When they’re not performing as Witness, the men are all choir members of Trinity Lutheran Church in West Seneca. Witness’ performance is part of Harvest House’s ongoing FREE concert series. No tickets or reservations are necessary for the concert, where a “love offering” will be taken. All are welcome, and light refreshments will be served after the concert. Harvest House is a shining star in South Buffalo, serving people in need through various outreach programs, with an emphasis on helping children. Harvest House is Western New York’s largest supplier of FREE baby items, including baby and children’s clothing. In addition, Harvest House regularly provides meeting space for non-profit and community organizations. Up to 2,000 people use the building each month for activities such as support meetings, block clubs, bible study, scouting and spiritual retreats.
