On the weekend of August 10th and 11th, The Tralf is presenting two amazing blues shows from two world renown artists. Delta Blues master John Hammond returns on Friday August 10. Electric blues ace Robben Ford lands at The Tralf on Saturday August 11 with his fabulous Ford Blues Band. It's an EPIC BLUES WEEKEND!

5th Annual Safety Event is Free for Female Motorcyclists
The 5th Annual GO (“Girls Only”) Ride, a free motorcycle safety event for women, will make its way through Niagara County and end on Old Falls Street, USA, on Aug. 4. The event is free and open to all female motorcyclists. It will be held rain or shine.
Registration will be held at MAC Street Rider (2221 Niagara Falls Blvd., Wheatfield) from 12 noon to 1 p.m., followed by a motorcycle safety seminar, a guided ride throughout Niagara County, and ends on Old Falls Street, USA, at approximately 5 p.m., just prior to the Hard Rock Rocks concert featuring K.C. & the Sunshine Band. Participants will also receive complimentary goody bags filled with items supplied by the event sponsors.
“We anticipate between 50 to 100 bikes in this year’s GO Ride,” said event organizer Patricia Frederick. “We welcome all females to bring their bikes and join in on the fun.”

St. John the Baptist Lawn Fete in Alden July 20-22nd
St. John’s Parish, located at 2021 Sandridge Rd., Alden, will be having its Annual Lawn Fete from July 20th – 22th. Featured will be a weekend filled with fun things to do for people of all ages including all new games in our kids tent, Cow Plop Squares, great prizes in our pull tab games tent and of course great music under our Labatt’s/Bud Light Beer Tent. You’ll also find Indian dice, bell jar, a Chinese auction with over 75 baskets, home-cooked pies and great food such as chicken clam chowder, roast beef, ribs and chicken BBQ. Friday evening features a large car show, pulled pork dinners and live music by Breakaway. Saturday’s all day festivities include a morning volleyball tournament, kids day specials all day, scavenger hunt, beer slide and great entertainment by Fat Brat, Widow Maker and Envy. Sunday features a chicken or rib dinner and entertainment by Buffalo’s own Terry Buchwald performing as ELVIS.
