Local Business Owner Continues Annual Tradition and Doubles Goal to Feed 256 Families in Need This Thanksgiving Holiday
Buffalo, New York – November 12, 2009 – Following the advice of his mentor nine years ago, Outer Limit Recording Studio owner Ken Rutkowski began a tradition of providing a Thanksgiving feast to a local family in need.
Beginning as a small, simple act of kindness toward one family, the program has doubled the number of families provided for every year since its inception in 2002. This year, Ken, through St. Adalbert's Response To Love Center in Buffalo, will provide Thanksgiving dinner to 256 families within the local community. These meals have consisted of a huge turkey, stuffing, potatoes, yams, cranberry sauce, corn, mixed vegetables, dinner rolls, butter, pies, whipped topping, juice, milk, coffee, tea… everything needed for a bountiful Thanksgiving meal. He now calls this the “ThanksgivingGiving.”
Close friends and family, along with studio clients and a handful of corporate sponsors like Tops Markets, Rich Products, and Dunkin Donuts, continue to make the “ThanksgivingGIVING” a success year after year. “The community has been really receptive to the program in terms of donating and helping out,” Ken says. “It's extremely rewarding to know that 256 families in true need this season will be able to enjoy a full Thanksgiving meal, thanks to The Response To Love Center and everyone who has been generous to help out with food, money, or time.”
For almost twenty years, Outer Limit Recording Studio has been the preferred choice for musicians throughout Western New York, Pennsylvania, and Southern Ontario. Having worked with Grammy Award winning artist Eminem D-12, Raheem DeVaughn, as well as an impressive roster of other national and local artists, Ken is one of the most sought-after engineers and producers in the region.
The purpose of this annual Thanksgiving GIVING is all about the POWER of giving, especially when you don’t have much to give. It has become a moving experience for so many people who depend on it now for nourishment, holiday spirit, and faith in the kindness of others, ability to not have to turn anyone away and most of all for those who seek a sense of goodwill. You get when you give… and Ken hopes to have that this become contagious for all of us in Buffalo, NY .
For more information about the “Thanksgiving GIVING” or to make a donation, please contact Ken at (716) 886-0554.

Classic Holiday song along and more!
Old Joe Clark- Clap, stomps, and dances at appropriate times during the song.
Hokey pokey - My own version of this classic song gets the whole crowd moving, young and old alike!
On a farm (original song) - Children and Families pretend to be, or make the sounds of the different animals on a farm. The kids love this song!
Hop high children- Skip as if riding a horse, and hop at suggested times in the song. Pretend that you are swinging a lasso during the verse and Jump up every time you sing, "Hooray!"
Jim along joesy- A singing game we play on the farm and we all clap, stomps, and dances at appropriate times in song.
Put your finger in the air- Place your finger in the air, on your shoe, and on your chin.
Built my lady a fine brick house- Singing game with advanced body motion to the word of the song, such as; build, house, dig, jump
Johnny works with one hammer- Children pretend to be working with their hands, feet, and head.
The snow came down on the farm- Children add words to the song.
Angel in the meadow- Children pretend to be Angels and used their Angel wings.
Wheels on the bus- A classic.
The Goony Bird - Children pretend to be this rear bird found on my farm.
If you're happy- We all love this classic.

The World's Largest Strawberry - A story of a family outing in which I go in search of the World's Largest Strawberry. This story gets real funny and fast.
Along with the sing a long and storytelling I can include, upon request, a group activity with the use of hula hoops which is GREAT FUN and full of laughter for children and families.
