PLACE: 3107 Main Street (St. Andrews Church at Main and Lisbon
Ave.) to Main St. and Niagara Falls Blvd.

More than one hundred artists, writers, filmmakers, actors,

> The first annual UHAA! Festival 2014 compliments the University
> Heights Arts Association Arts Crawl. Throughout the year, the UHAA
> Crawl places tagged art in participating businesses and public
> spaces on Main Street (University Heights), Bailey Ave., and Hertel
> Ave. The tags lead to information about the artists, the venues and
> the UHAA. The festival will bring entertainment to UHAA Art Crawl
> locations on Main Street from St. Andrew's Church (Lisbon Ave.) to
> Niagara Falls Boulevard. Much of the programming offered by UHAA
> involves integrated arts in businesses and non-art settings, such as
> retail stores, community centers and restaurants.
> The diverse lineup of entertainment for the festival includes
> everything from classic jazz to positive rap music. Performers will
> play at several venues along Main Street including St. Andrews
> Episcopal Church and adjacent parking lots. Performers include:
> Equinox Jazz, Gruvology, MroZ Jazz Ensemble, The Freudig Singers of
> WNY, The PM Guitar Duo, Dynamic Drum Arts, Lewis and Klark Guitar

> participating venues include Music City, Amy's Place, Talking Leaves
> Books (Main Street), Queen City Comics, Shango Bistro, The Steer,
> Queen City Imaging, Couture, Pamela, Inc., and Buffalo Root
> Visitors may engage in a cluster of interactive visual art
> activities to compliment the entertainment. Artist George Grace
> will offer Plein Air Still Life Painting. Author Patricia Tansey and
> several North Buffalo poets will offer readings, and artist Amanda
> Hart will jury chalk art competitions for adults and children.
> Sculptor Lawrence Kinney will demonstrate how to sculpt with spun
> resins. An exhibition by Chase Lobley featuring dinosaur sculptures

> muralist Augustina Droze will unveil a mural that corresponds to a
> community art project involving writers, photographers and area
> residents. Other booths will feature fabric art displays, food art,
> and nature crafts. Community organizations will also be on hand
> with information about their latest projects.
